Alice + Olivia names Aliza Licht the EVP of Brand Marketing & Communications

Alice + Olivia on Friday named Aliza Licht the Executive Vice President of Brand Marketing and Communications, effective November 28, 2016. The 20-year fashion veteran spent most of her career at DKNY ultimately serving as SVP Global Communications.

 
In her new role, Licht will oversee brand marketing, communications, advertising, social media and celebrity outfitting. She will report to Alice + Olivia President Deanna Berkeley.
 
Licht founded Leave Your Mark, the virtual mentorship company, in January 2016 and served as President. Leave Your Mark teaches career success through brand building. Since 2015, the company has sold over 40,000 Leave Your Mark books that have been translated to Spanish and Chinese. The company has a newsletter, Blackboard, on Forbes.com and will produce a paperback edition of Leave Your Mark with new material in May 2018.

Prior to Leave Your Mark, Licht worked at Donna Karan International and was notably the voice of the DKNY PR Girl Twitter handle. She remained anonymous under the handle until October 2011. Licht is credited as a social media pioneer in the fashion industry for building a following of over 1.5 million followers for DKNY from 2009 to 2016.
