Chokina joins the brand from L'Oréal Paris where she was general manager of Russia and helped the brand become the top brand in the country. Her other consumer goods experience comes from Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo. At Avon, she will lead global brand marketing, skincare and personal Care.

Degtyareva is currently vice president for global marketing operations at Avon. She will assume the position of vice president, global fashion and home, a $1.4 billion category that accounts for a quarter of Avon's global business. She has extensive international experience as well as specialized knowledge in Eastern Europe.

"These appointments are a testament to our commitment both to develop our winning category strategies and to drive operational excellence across all categories and regions as part of our turnaround plans," said Jonathan Myers, chief operating officer at Avon.

In addition to the two VP appointments, Avon also named Marco Brandolini as its new general manager for Italy and the Mediterranean, which includes Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece. He was most recently EMEA VP of sales and marketing, member services and technology for Herbalife Nutrition, and also has experience from Fiat.

Miguel Fernandez, Avon global president highlighted that Brandolini has "a history of building high-performing direct selling businesses in Europe. Under his new leadership we look forward to driving growth across our European businesses."

Brandolini's appointment is effective September 1st, 2018, while Chokina will join the company on September 24th.
