Billabong has turned to a former top-notch surfer to head its European sales teams. The board sports label belonging to the eponymous Australian group, managed in Europe by Jean-Louis Rodrigues, has recently appointed Nigel Gibb as Head of Sales Europe. Gibb took over from Nicolas Burger, who recently joined the cycling pure player Alltricks.
 

Gibb joined the Billabong group in 2014, and was in charge of European sales for the Element brand. He previously spent 10 years at watch and accessories brand Nixon, lately as Sales Manager of the EMEA region.

At Billabong, Gibb's mission will be to consolidate and expand the label's presence in multi-brand surfing and snowboarding stores.
