Browns releases exclusive Off-White capsule collection

Published

British retailer Browns has joined forces with a designer that is no stranger to collaborations. Virgil Abloh of cult fashion brand Off-White has created an exclusive men’s and women’s capsule collection for Browns that has just been released.

With 21 styles in total, the capsule range revisits some of Off-White’s most popular designs, refreshed with new cuts, colours and “special fastenings”.

The women’s collection is defined by multicoloured floral prints, asymmetric tops and pyjama-style suits, while the men’s range focuses on track suits, black and green combinations and reworked denim.

“The capsule has the essence of Off-White embedded in it,” said Abloh, the founder and creative designer behind the brand. “A mix of street and chic sensibilities wrapped up into one expression.”

The collection launched online and in Browns stores on Friday with prices from £155 to £1,550. It is expected to sell out fast, like many other Off-White collaborations, which seem to resonate with an audience of people who want unique-looking clothing and are ready to pay a premium price for it.

Virgil Abloh has previously collaborated with Nike, Moncler, Ikea, Jimmy Choo, Ssense, Levi’s, Sunglass Hut, Warby Parker, Umbro and Vans, to name a few.
