Christian Louboutin fragrances receive trio of videos

The luxury fashion designer is moving into the fragrance industry, and three videos support the September launches of Bikini Questa Sera, Tornade Blonde, and Trouble in Heaven.

Marketed as women's fragrances, the three reels feature women but only off camera, appearing in the conversations between three immaculately dressed men.

They discuss the women they are interested in and invariably namecheck one of the three fragrances, the campaign sculpting a fantasy ideal of how men might respond to each of the scents.

Louboutin, known for his blood red stilettoes, first broke into the beauty industry in 2014 with a nail polish collection, but cemented his influence on the market last September when he released a lipstick line that riffed on his iconic red shade, followed by a series of 'Loubilaque' glosses this summer. The fragrance range confirms the brand's increasingly strong presence in the beauty industry.

Another publicity campaign for the fragrances is being fronted by model, actress, film director and philanthropist Elisa Sednaoui, with fashion photographer Ali Mahdavi behind the camera.
