Wednesday, June 21, the American brand unveiled its fall/winter 2017-2018 campaign, fronted by the actress and singer Selena Gomez, a Coach brand ambassador. Optimism, freedom and simplicity are key themes in the campaign, shot by American photographer Steven Meisel.

Coach showcases its latest collection of luxury ready-to-wear clothing, accessories and leather goods in a new fall/winter 2017 camapign. The ads feature the internationally renowned actress and singer Selena Gomez, who also attended the label's New York fashion show in February.

Shot by Steven Meisel, the campaign shows "Coach girl" Selena Gomez posing in a vintage 1976 Plymonth Fury, ready to head off on a stylish road trip in search of freedom. Each shot is set against a New York cityscape, showing the Big Apple flooded with light at sunset, creating a frame for the central image.

"From the very beginning, the creation of Coach campaigns have been an exciting and collaborative effort," said Steven Meisel. "It's been a pleasure working with Stuart [Vevers, the Coach creative director] and the team of incredibly talented individuals behind the brand. Inviting Selena Gomez to join the Coach family takes it to another level."

The campaign features key pieces from the Coach fall/winter collection. Back in February, the brand picked a country decor, with ramshackle houses and prairie vibes, to present the collection on the runway. This contrasting collection features a clever mix of styles, channeling town and country, luxury and simplicity, classic style and imaginative creativity.

The collection features lots of sheepskin jackets -- emblematic pieces spotted at the show -- as well as varsity-style jackets, denim jeans with patches, patterned oversized padded jackets and lightweight coloful dresses, sometimes covered with florals.

As well as still shots, the campaign includes three films presenting iconic bags of the season: the Edie, the Swagger and the Rogue. Here, Selena Gomez can be seeen in a New York apartment, searching for the ideal look before heading out.
