Published

Dutch department store chain de Bijenkorf has added new brands to its assortment for the Spring/Summer 2018 collections. For some of the additions, de Bijenkorf stores and webshop are the only points of sale in the Netherlands.

Women's fashion has been expanded with the following brands: Coach 1941, Elie Tahari, Envii, Fiorucci, J. Crew, Joseph, Luisa Cerano, Marc Jacobs, Paule Ka, Persona by Marina Rinaldi, Piazza Sempione, Polo Ralph Lauren, Reebok Classic, Saint James, SET, Tara Jarmon and Viktor & Rolf Tulle.

The menswear department added CP Company, J. Crew, Off-White, Profuomo Ready-to-wear and Y3. Adidas Originals, Caruso, Fila, Incotex, Rag & Bone and Versace Jeans will also soon make their Bijenkorf debut.

For Coach 1941, Viktor & Rolf Tulle and Rag & Bone, de Bijenkorf is the only sales point in the Netherlands.

In addition to ready-to-wear, de Bijenkorf also extended its accessories, footwear, leather goods, lingerie, activewear and swimwear collections. Some notable brands include Off-White, Marie Jo, Veja and Mimi Holliday.

In October de Bijenkorf introduced French jewelry house Cartier, becoming the first multi-brand retailer in the Netherlands to offer the brand. Earlier in 2017, the department store introduced brands, including Yeezy, Saint Laurent and J.W. Anderson to its store offer, amongst other labels.

De Bijenkorf was founded in 1870 and currently operates 3 flagship stores in Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam and 4 medium-sized branches in Amstelveen, Utrecht, Eindhoven and Maastricht. Since 2011, the Bijenkorf is part of Selfridges Group Limited, a subsidiary of the Canadian Wittington Investments.
