Energie presents its first collection of glasses

Published
May 4, 2009

After having unveiled its first glasses to professionals during Mido, the international optical, optometric and ophthalmological tradeshow, Energie is presenting them to the general public from this spring. Miss Sixty, owner of Energie, will offer twelve pairs of glasses and six sets of sunglasses.

This new label was developed under licence with Vecellio and reflects “Style-Clash”, a blend of vintage and futurism. As for the looks, they will be available in bold colours with logo arms, the font of which is sometimes discreet, sometimes aggressive. In plastic or steel they offer eclectic style, from the aviator shape to curves similar to the mythic Wayfarers. Fans of the look will be able to pick these up in black and white as well as red, blue, metallic green and copper brown.

Claiming to be the incarnation of “an homage to the sporting models of the 70s and 80s", in the brand’s eyes the glasses draw their inspiration from “motor sports through to water sports”. An affirmation that each model is “interpreted with a rock’n’roll attitude” characterizes this men’s brand.

You will find these glasses in every of the label’s boutiques and at certain specialist retailers from this winter onwards.
