Fanatics and NBA launch official online stores in Asia-Pacific

Fanatics and the NBA announced on Tuesday the launch of the official online NBA stores in the Asia-Pacific region.

As of Tuesday, online NBA stores are available in Australia, Cambodia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam, bringing the total number of international NBA stores up to 20.
 
“The NBA is becoming an increasingly global league, and we’ve seen a significant uptick in fandom across several regions throughout Asia,” said Steve Davis, President of Fanatics International.

“This level of growth is very exciting, and Fanatics is committed to providing a best-in-class online shopping experience to provide these passionate fans with easy access to the largest assortment of officially licensed NBA merchandise available for all 30 teams.”
 
The new online NBA stores are offering men’s, women’s and children’s products from all 30 NBA teams, including on-court apparel from Nike and products from New Era and Mitchell & Ness. The online stores will also offer exclusive products, including personalised team jerseys, and shortened delivery times and reduced shipping costs due to Fanatics’ centralised distribution point in Asia.

The new venture builds on Fanatics' and the NBA’s current partnership that includes the flagship NBA Store in New York City, which opened in 2015, NBAStore.com, and NBAStore.eu, the official NBA Store in Europe.
 
Fanatics currently operates over 300 online and offline stores, including e-commerce business for the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS, Nascar, PGA, NBC Sports, CBS Sports, Fox Sports, and over 200 professional and collegiate teams.
