Published
May 3, 2017

Icebreaker will have a new head in June - Greg Smith has been promoted to the role of CEO at the New Zealand outdoor brand.

Rob Fyfe is passing the torch onto Greg Smith at the outdoor brand - Icebreaker

The company, specialising in merino wool, has been helmed by Rob Fyfe since 2014, formerly the head of Air New Zealand. Fyfe is to become non-executive president and Greg Smith, who since 2013 has overseen the sectors for New Zealand and Australia for the brand; will take up the reins at the company founded by Jeremy Moon.

Icebreaker reported revenue of 220 million New Zealand dollars (140 million euros) in 2016, having made 86% of that figure abroad.
