After a highly successful run in Paris, Louis Vuitton is bringing their "Volez, Voguez, Voyagez" exhibition to Tokyo this spring.

The exhibit, which drew 200,000 visitors during its three-month run in Paris this past winter, traces more than 160 years of the company's history from a single man's goal of improving the travel trunk to an international empire of luxury goods.

A special section of the exhibit will be dedicated to Japan.

The luxury fashion house has a strong affiliation for all that is Japanese. LV's iconic monogram has been compared to Japanese cherry blossoms in its flower shape.

The exhibition will open in the Kioicho neighborhood of Tokyo, home of Vuitton's first store in Japan. It will run from April 23 to June 19 and is free to the public.
