Louis Vuitton opens Heathrow pop-up store

Published
Jul 19, 2018

French luxury house Louis Vuitton has opened a new pop-up store in Heathrow’s terminal 4 ahead of a permanent opening at the London airport in November.

The 20-square-metre space has opened this week, joining existing Louis Vuitton stores in Heathrow’s terminal 5 and 3, which opened in 2014 and 2017 respectively.

The new pop-up space is inspired by the ‘My LV World Tour Collection’ that pays homage to Gaston-Louis Vuitton’s private collection of destination stickers.

Giant monogrammed name tags alongside stickers of famous monuments and landmarks adorn the store’s see-through façade, in reference to labels from the 1930s that were originally affixed to trunks and luggage to symbolise the art of travelling and exploration.

There is also a selection of both men’s and women’s leather goods and accessories, introducing the luxury brand to travellers before the brand takes up permanent residence in the autumn.

The pop-up store will run for five months until November.
