MILAN, Jan 30 (Reuters) - Italian eyewear maker Luxottica (LUX.MI) has renewed its licence agreement with luxury brand Salvatore Ferragamo.

Luxottica said in a statement on Friday the new agreement -- for another three years for the design, production and worldwide distribution of prescription frames and sunglasses -- would run until December 2011, with a two-year extension option.

No financial details were provided.
