MadaLuxe tests Arizona market with off-price pop-up over the weekend

MadaLuxe Group held its first ever MadaLuxe Vault off-price pop-up in Arizona, at the Outlets at Anthem, over the weekend, looking to test the market for greater investment.

The MadaLuxe Vault pop-up ran Friday through Sunday with a fashion show event on Saturday showcasing the company's diverse range of brands. The pop-up offered MadaLuxe's standard assortment of designer handbags, sunglasses, shoes, watches, and accessories. Brands included Fendi, Versace, Celine, Gucci, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen.

Adam Freede, co-founder and CEO of MadaLuxe Group said in a statement, that the pop-up in the Phoenix, AZ area "represents a significant and underserved luxury consumer that is in need of access to authentic and quality high-end products."

“As we strategically look for new retail spaces, we will continue to seek locations that complement our brand partners," added Freede.

He went on to state that what distinguishes Madaluxe Vault from the traditional mono-brand outlet shopping experience is that customers can shop a variety of brands.

MadaLuxe recently launched its first off-price Vault store in LA and a Vault-specific website. The company, founded in 2010, aims to function as a partner to Europe's iconic luxury houses looking to sell excess inventory in North America. Its retail sales total over $200 million.

Earlier this spring MadaLuxe announced plans to open a second permanent Vault location in Southern California. The company also operates a 9,000-square-foot showroom in New York.
