Maesa creates perfume for Zara

Published
Aug 31, 2010

The global made-to-order cosmetics specialist Maesa came up with 13 new scents exclusively for retailer Zara. They went on sale a few weeks ago.

Marisota, Zara
A scent for men and women by Maesa for Zara

The collection is complete with 5 fragrances for men, 5 for women, 2 for children and one for babies.

Maesa designs products that sit themselves in the world of affordable luxury. The fragrances, bottles and packaging, some of which have been specifically developed for this collection by Maesa’s design studio, stand out for their creativity and level of accessible pricing; sold for 10-20 Euros.

The perfumes have been available since July and will be quite limited in all Zara stores; just sold in 1200 sales outlets worldwide.

"This new contract with a leading apparel distribution brand shows the relevance of our business model and our market potential," said Julien Saada, founder and President of Maesa. Our group successfully convinced Zara for this collaboration by proposing a new creative vision for its beauty products, just as we offer to other global retailers like Carrefour, Payless shoes and Claire’s.”
