Multi-platinum recording artist Nicki Minaj has formed a new fragrance partnership with Luxe Brands. Luxe will reinvent her fragrance franchise which currently centers around her signature scent, Pink Friday.

Minaj launched Pink Friday, named after her debut album, in 2012. Elizabeth Arden held the license to it and led distribution and marketing efforts. In 2013, it was nominated for three Fifi Awards and won several other industry awards. Currently the artist's fragrance portfolio includes body lotion, shower gel and hair mist in addition to eau de parfum spray and rollers.

Commenting on the deal in a release, Minaj said, "There's no better feeling than working with a brand that genuinely wants to get it right for my fans. My fans know I always come with the best for them."

"Nicki encompasses authenticity and creativity in everything she does," said Joel B. Ronkin, chief executive officer of Luxe Brands. "She is an authority on breaking barriers and building successful brands and partnerships across product categories."

Other Luxe Brands franchises include Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez and Hawaiian Tropic.

In addition to fragrance, Minaj has also previously collaborated with MAC on a line of cosmetics. Her new album, Queen, will release August 10th.
