Nike launches a "millennial pink" collection

Published
Jul 22, 2017

Called the Chrome Blush Collection, Nike’s latest release is made entirely of leggings, shoes, sports bras and more rendered in on-trend millennial pink and rose gold hues.

Released on Wednesday, Nike’s Chrome Blush line is a new collection of sportswear and accessories for women. The 23-piece collection includes sports apparel such as tank tops, sports bras, skirts, hats and leggings, primarily in blush pink tones with accents of gray, black and metallic tones. The collection also features some of Nike’s popular sneaker models with new pink-based color schemes.

To promote the new line, Nike released a series of ads starring international athletes such as Olympic swimmer Kapas Boglarka, yoga instructor Klara Pokorna, and dancer and choreographer Jana Vrána.

The rose gold and dusty pink tones seen in the Nike collection have come out as some of the trendiest colors of the past few seasons. The colors have appeared in Rihanna’s Fenty Puma collection and in much of Glossier’s marketing and packaging.

The collection is available now at Nike stores and website. Prices for the Chrome Blush collection range from $25 for the training shorts to $160 to for the Nike Air Max 90 sneaker, which utilizes the company’s Flyknit technology.
