Online fashion retailer Lesara on Tuesday announced that it has raised $40 million in Series C funding from new and existing investors in the US and UK. The Series C round brings the company’s total funds raised to $60 million.

Lesara

The Berlin-based e-commerce website that was founded by Roman Kirsch, Matthias Wilrich and Robin Müller in 2013 offers trendy and affordable fashion and lifestyle products that are selected through a special trend analysis tool.

Lesara takes as long as ten days to spot a trend and have it designed, produced and advertised for its customers in Europe.

Lesara adds 2,000 styles every week and its current inventory is comprised of 100,000 fashion and lifestyle products. In 2016, the online retailer saw a 175% increase in revenue with over 1.5 million active customers in Europe.

The website will use its new capital to expand further in Europe in the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Spain and Belgium.
