Ralph Lauren recruits former Louis Vuitton President of Southern Europe

Geoffroy van Raemdonck is taking over for John Hooks, President of Ralph Lauren Europe since 2011, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

The newest Executive of the American group was formerly CEO of St John Knits, a position he held since one year. Before that, van Raemdonck, educated at the University of Chicago, began his career at the Boston Consulting Group.

Between 2008 and 2013, he held several chair positions at Louis Vuitton, including President of Southern Europe from 2011 to 2013.
