Rosa Clará strengthens its management with two key hires for its retail and wholesale business. Ana Lodos has been named retail director of the bridal brand, while Carlos Maiz will take up the role of wholesale director. Both Lodos and Maiz will report directly to the company’s CEO Manuel Cano.

The bridalwear and occasionwear brand said in a press release on Tuesday that the new appointments complete the company’s management team as its moves forward in its growth plan for the next years.

Lodos, who will be responsible for Rosa Clará stores worldwide, has previously worked at luxury companies including Coach Inc, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren. She was most recently retail director for South Europe at Coach.

Meanwhile Maiz, who will be tasked with driving wholesale growth across five key markets, has a wealth of experience working in the fashion industry, having held several senior roles at global brands such as Hawkers, Desigual and Tous.

Grupo Rosa Clará has 140 stores and 3,500 concessions in 80 countries. This year, the group opened new stores in Lima, Peru and Abu Dhabi, and is set to launch in Riyadh and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, in Mashhad, Iran, and Doha, Qatar by the end of the year.

In Spain, the brand opened exclusive stores in Girona and Santander and directly-operated boutiques in Seville, Cadiz, A Coruña, Caceres and Murcia this year.

Additionally, further stores are planned to launch in 2018 in key cities including Bogota, Sao Paulo, Paris, Abu Dhabi and Tehran.
