Smashbox debuts new influencer partnership

Smashbox has announced its newest influencer partnership. The beauty company is bringing onboard American make-up artist Vlada Haggerty for the role of ‘Lip Editor-in-Chief'.

Haggerty, a Los Angeles-based beauty expert, built her success via her Instagram platform, which currently boasts 651,000 followers. Haggerty is best known for creating fantastical paintings out of make-up.

The social media gurus' new role will see her forecasting upcoming lip trends, launching new products, and creating social media content, including how-to videos and social media posts.

Also in the contract, Haggerty will make a tour of Ulta and Sephora stores in New York, Chicago, and San Francisco, as well as unannounced locations in the UK and Canada. She will also demonstrate new products for Refinery 29’s “Lip Art World Tour”, as part of the eighteen-month contract signed with Smashbox.

Smashbox has found great success over the past year by teaming up with social media mavens to promote products. Just last month, the brand launched a collaboration with Shay Mitchell, a campaign that became Smashbox’s largest launch to date.

January’s collaboration with vlogger Casey Holmes brought in more sales in one day than Smashbox earned on its last Cyber Monday.
