Supreme joins forces with Woolrich to create limited-edition blanket

Published
Nov 13, 2017

Among Supreme's forthcoming collaborations, one of the most eagerly awaited is undoubtedly that with Woolrich. The uber-cool New York streetwear label asked the oldest US outdoor apparel brand to produce an exclusive, limited-edition version of one of its renowned woollen blankets, still manufactured at the brand's Pennsylvania textile factory.

The fruit of the collaboration - Supreme

The result is a throw in typically ironic Supreme style, a new take on a smiley face, pictured furiously uttering a thunderous 'shit' and available in black or orange. Nearly one thousand blankets will be available for purchase on the label's website in the coming weeks.

This isn't the first time that Supreme and Woolrich collaborate: in the past, they joined forces to create a jacket and a baseball cap. For Woolrich, it is the chance to shine the spotlight on its signature blankets, which the brand is keen to relaunch.

The limited-edition blanket recently produced by Woolrich for Canadian rapper Drake and his OVO music label, priced at $390, was sold out in less than an hour, and the Supreme one is expected to beat this record.
