Traffic fetes success with second edition

Published
Apr 13, 2017

The Parisian tradeshow, aimed at designers and brand managers, saw 1,930 visitors attend its second edition, an increase of 29% from its inauguration in November 2015. The jump in attendance further validates the decision from organisers to move the event to spring.

Traffic 2017 tradeshow - Traffic

"This edition reinforces Traffic's unique positioning," said Traffic director, Priscilla Jokhoo. "Relationships were made and information exchanged thanks to the different formats offered at the show."

For the latest edition, Traffic was held in Paris' Carreau du Temple building and gathered 80 exhibitors, offering to brands their services in retail, marketing, exports and innovation. The tradeshow also boasted 14 conferences and 50 workshops, which attracted 1,100 and 1,250 professionals, respectively. Each seminar can be listened to again via podcast.

One the most important moments of the latest edition was the rare gathering of presidents from different federations making up the clothing, manufacturing and distribution.

"These rich and intense exchanges call for others like it," said Pierre-François Le Louet, president of the French Federation of Women's Ready-to-Wear.

Off the back of its recent success and in waiting for its next edition, Traffic will also launch this June 26th its Traffic Campus, a variation on its current concept, which will take place at The Bureau in Paris. It will be exclusively by invitation only.
