Vans wins Addy award for best interactive ad campaign

On March 23 at the 2017 Addy Awards Gala, Vans was honored with the American Advertising Federation/Orange County Addy award for having the best online/interactive consumer website. The company was awarded the prize in conjunction with its advertising agency, Rauxa.


Vans has become VF Corp.'s leading brand - Vans


"At Vans, we focus on enabling the individuality and creativity of our fans," said Sylvia Niles, Senior Director, eCommerce, Vans. The partnership gave the Orange County-based company the opportunity to create an engaging 3D digital experience that gives shoppers the unique experience of being able to customize shoes with their own artwork or photographs from the Vans website.

While the action sports footwear and apparel brand has been developing exclusive collections at retailers like Nordstrom and collaborations with brands like Disney for years, this award-winning, innovative campaign is the first of its kind in the fashion industry.


The campaign allows shoppers to customise various aspects of the shoe - Vans


Rauxa, the largest woman-owned independent advertising agency in the U.S., has been helping clients like Gap, Inc. and Verizon to acquire and grow a consumer base for the past 18 years.
