NEW YORK, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Warnaco Group Inc (WRC.N) posted higher quarterly profit on Wednesday 4 November, helped by its international expansion of the Calvin Klein brand and tight inventory management.

The apparel maker, whose owned and licensed brands include Calvin Klein, Speedo and Olga, said third-quarter net income was $29.7 million, or 63 cents per share, compared to $26.5 million, or 56 cents per share, a year earlier.

Income from continuing operations was 66 cents per share, while adjusted income from continuing operations was 75 cents per share.

Net revenue was $520.9 million, down 5 percent from a year earlier. (Reporting by Martinne Geller; Editing by Derek Caney)
