Adidas and Porsche Design Sport unveil a new collection for the 'Urban Commuter'

Adidas has unveiled the details of its next collection with Porsche Design Sport, a range of cycling essentials for the "Urban Commuter."

Inspired by the latest technology, natural structures and geometric graphics, the new Spring / Summer 2017 range is comprised of two capsule collections to offer the urban cyclist a range of key pieces specifically designed for "Commuting in Cold" and "Commuting in Darkness". A masculine color palette of midnight blues, black and neutrals with a subtle hexagon pattern running brings together the two to create one cohesive cycling collection.

"Commuting in Cold" fuses together minimal and sleek design details from Porsche Design with adidas's cutting-edge technology designed to keep city cyclists warm and dry during the colder months.

Highlights from the range include the super-warm Padded Jacket, filled with premium PrimaLoft® Gold insulation, which can be layered over the Functional Wool Mix Top for extra warmth. The Seven-eight Commuter Pant brings together some of the highlights of adidas technology, such as water-repellant fabric to keep the rain off and the rider comfortable, while classic five-pockets design, roll-up cuffs and a slightly cropped leg ensure a contemporary, modern look.

"Commuting in Darkness" features the same premium design features but with high visibility and reflective fabrics incorporated into the range to make after work commuting both safe and stylish.

The Reflective Jacket uses an innovative hexagonal print fabric which becomes visible when illuminated, cut into a sleek and tailored shape for journeying in style, while the practical yet stylish OT backpack features cushioned pockets and padded panels for comuting comfort with reflective trims for safety.

Both ranges also offer footwear to finish your look, incorporating the functional design of Porsche Design with adidas BOOSTTM technology to add an even greater injection of style and energy into your daily commute.
