Ben Sherman taps British photographer Rankin for SS20 campaign

British photographer Rankin, known for his portraits of celebrities including the Queen, will shoot the upcoming Ben Sherman x Team GB campaign.

The campaign will celebrate the menswear brand’s multi-year agreement with Team GB, starting with the opening ceremony looks for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Additionally, Ben Sherman will design a line of clothing and accessories for retail, including outerwear, shirts, T-shirts, polo shirts, belts, optical frames, and kidswear.

Items from this range will be styled on Team GB’s Tokyo 2020 athletes in the new campaign shot by Rankin in the UK. The brand is keeping more details about the collaboration under wraps, but it said the campaign will launch with an omnichannel marketing strategy in the spring.

Rankin, a fashion photographer with 30 years in the business, has become synonymous with contemporary iconography. The high calibre of his subjects, including everyone from Kendall Jenner to David Bowie, and his bold and distinctive style have created an impressive portfolio that ranges from portraiture to documentary.
