Blossom Première Vision show will move to new Paris venue

The fourth edition, and second winter session, of Blossom Première Vision, the Parisian show for pre-collection fabrics, recorded a 27% rise in visitors, up from the 700 buyers, mostly from major labels, who attended a year earlier. It was also the last time the show was held at the Palais Brongniart venue.

The Made in France Première Vision show has been held at the Carreau du Temple venue in Paris since 2014 - Première vision

From the next edition, on 4th-5th July 2018, the show will be held at the Carreau du Temple venue in Paris. The new location will be familiar to the regulars of French show organiser Première Vision SA's events, and to French high fashion professionals in general. From 2014, the venue in fact hosts the Made in France Première Vision event, whose next edition is scheduled for 28th-29th March. The Carreau du Temple is also the venue of the Traffic show, organised by the French Women's Ready-to-wear Federation (FFPAPF).

The latest edition of Blossom Première Vision, held on 12th-13th December, attracted 875 visitors, 83% of them from France. Foreign visitors came mostly from Italy, the UK, Belgium, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and the USA. Among the labels whose buyers attended the event were Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Lacoste, Kenzo, Paule Ka, Furla, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen and Christian Louboutin.

Blossom Première Vision is one of Paris' emerging trade shows: the number of exhibitors at the last edition grew to 93 (+16%), chiefly comprising specialists of the fabric, leather and accessories sectors. Most of them came from Italy and France, with a presence also from Japan, Spain, Portugal, the UK and South Korea. Exhibitor numbers are likely to increase at the new venue, which is more spacious than the Palais Brongniart, as well as being located in the heart of Paris, quite close to the headquarters of many major labels.

The forthcoming Première Vision events will be Première Vision New York on 16th-17th January, a sort of advance preview of Première Vision Paris, scheduled on 13th-15th February, and Première Vision Istanbul, on 7th-9th March.
