Boots to continue Love Island sponsorship

Published
May 20, 2022

The love affair continues. UK health & Beauty retail giant Boots is rekindling its relationship with ITV2’s Love Island in a deal that runs for the second year in a row.

Boots - Boots

Boots said it will stock the contestants’ villa with more beauty must-haves than last season, including fragrance, make-up, skincare, haircare, grooming products and sun protection brand Soltan.

Also available to contestants this time will be Boots’ new brands 17 and Makeup Revolution, as well as Sculpted by Aimee, Boots Glow Banana and Boots Ingredients Haircare.

Last year, the retailer said it enjoyed the ‘Love Island effect’ with a 61% increase in sales of the Fenty brand, as well as Liz Earle (+44%) and Boots Glow (+34%).

The exclusive beauty partnership will also be supported with a new marketing campaign entitled ‘Better Be Ready to Find the Ones’, which will help customers discover the products seen on the show.

Love Island has long been a major marketing channel for fashion and beauty brands and sponsors frequently report sales spurts, both of the brands in general and individual items that are featured on the show.
