Canada Goose, the Toronto-based brand famous for its outdoor apparel designed for extreme weather conditions, has opened its first Parisian location. The label's first French boutique opened its doors on Monday, December 16, at 283 Rue Saint-Honor, in the eighth arrondissement.

French fans of Canada Goose will now be able to shop the brand's various collections in a brick-and-mortar store on their home turf. The location is a stone's throw away from the Champs-Elysées, the Tuilleries and Avenue Montaigne, where some of the biggest luxury houses have their Parisian stores.

For its first physical location in the French capital, the brand has chosen to mix elements of its heritage with references to Canada and a Parisian spirit. The store also features art inspired by earth and water, evoking the cold landscapes of the North. Customers will notably be able to see work by Ningiukulu Teevee, Meghan Price and Ed Pien.

"Success in retail isn't only about selling products. It's also about helping people find the perfect product, while offering exceptional service and creating a memorable experience. That's what Canada Goose offers and much more. With our new store in Paris, we are inviting customers to come in and learn more about the history of our products, all with no filter," said Dani Reiss, Canada Goose president and CEO.

The store houses the brand's men's and women's collections, as well as exclusive collaborations. It is also the first Canada Goose location to put aside a whole room for the label's kids' collections, with parkas, pants and a selection of accessories.

On top of this, the Rue Saint-Honoré store offers customers the chance to experience a cold room, a space that can be filled with snow and where temperatures can be dropped as low as -25 degrees so that people can try Canada Goose products in extreme conditions.

The boutique will open from 10.00 AM to 7.00 PM, Monday to Saturday, and from 11.00 AM and 7.00 PM, Sunday.
