The L’Oréal group has announced two new senior management appointments. Starting with L’Oréal Paris, which appointed Delphine Viguier-Hovasse as its new international head. Viguier-Hovasse has been with the group since 1997, working as marketing director for brands like Gemey-Maybelline-Garnier and L’Oréal Paris. In 2015, she was appointed Garnier’s global brand president, working on the brand’s repositioning in the natural beauty segment.

Delphine Viguier-Hovasse is the new international general manager of L’Oréal Paris - L'Oréal

In her new function, Viguier-Hovasse will report to Alexis Perakis-Valat, president of the group’s Consumer Products division.

“As the first woman in charge of [L’Oréal Paris] globally, I’m extremely enthusiastic about the idea of writing the next chapters in the history of this iconic brand together with my team. We will promote more strongly than ever the values and mission of L’Oréal Paris, [a brand] which continues to inspire and encourage the empowerment of women of every generation,” said Viguier-Hovasse, a graduate of the Paris-Grignon national agronomy institute.

At Garnier, Adrien Koskas has been appointed global brand president in lieu of Viguier-Hovasse. A graduate of the HEC business school, Koskas has worked at L’Oréal since 2005, and was appointed managing director of L'Oreal's Consumer Products Division for the UK and Ireland in January 2018. He will start in his new role on July 1.

“I’m delighted to join Garnier, which is now at a turning point in its history. As the world’s top mass-market natural beauty brand, we have the responsibility of leading the way in the beauty industry. My clear ambition is to make Garnier the most powerful natural beauty brand in the world, one that is genuinely engaged in favour of our planet,” said Koskas in a press release.

In Q1 2019, the L'Oréal group generated a revenue of €7.55 billion, up 7.7% at constant exchange rates over the previous year. The Consumer Products division grew by 3.3%.
