Dubai welcomes the concept store Nous

The French concept store Nous is off to a strong start in 2020, following a new opening in Dubai.

The high-end store has opened its latest location in the UAE's Dubai Mall, where it will offer shoppers the chance to browse its signature offering of high-tech and streetwear fashion and accessories from cutting-edge designers. Marni, Rick Owens and Ralph Lauren are just some of the labels that will be stocked in the new boutique.

Since it was founded by Sébastien Chapelle and Marvin Dein -- former employees of the legendary, now-closed Parisian concept store Colette -- Nous has built up a global presence, with retail locations in Paris, Geneva, Saint-Tropez and London.

According to WWD, a Miami location is also in the pipeline for the near future. Nous is known for its minimalist approach to innovative essentials, with an eclectic stock spanning sportswear, glasses, hi-tech, accessories and timepieces.

Dubai has seen its fashion stock soar of late: the luxury French fashion house of Dior hosted its first catwalk show in the city in 2019, while Giorgio Armani has reportedly chosen the city as the location for his upcoming Cruise 2021 fashion show in April.
