Danish ready-to-wear brand Ganni announced on Tuesday that it has appointed Nicholas Yates as its new chief financial officer, effective May 13.
Yates joins the company from Danish jewelery label Pandora, where he has worked for the last nine years, most recently serving as vice president of finance for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region.
Prior to Pandora, the executive, who is a chartered management accountant, worked at IC Company A/S, having started his career at American agricultural equipment manufacturer Agco Corporation.
Yates is the latest in a string of hires at Ganni, which has made some 30 appointments across its offices in Copenhagen, NYC and London in the space of a year.
Indeed, only a matter of months ago, the brand welcomed Andrea Baldo as its new CEO.
Founded in 2009, Ganni has been backed by LVMH’s private equity firm L Catterton since December 2017 and is currently one of the fastest growing apparel brands around.
Having launched a US e-commerce platform in May of last year, the label has now committed to opening its first UK brick-and-mortar location in London’s Soho.
Yates will be based at Ganni’s Copenhagen HQ.
