Hugo Boss names new HR director

Ex-Tchibo executive Jochen Eckhold has been named new global HR director at German fashion group Hugo Boss, taking over from Frederic Klumpp, who is retiring.

Eckhold was most recently global HR director at coffee retailer Tchibo. Prior to that, he spent several years at Adidas, where he held several senior positions including VP of Global Retail HR. His career also included a period at UK clothing brand Belstaff.

Effective immediately, Eckhold will report directly to CEO Mark Langer. Initially, he will lead the company’s global HR activities alongside Frederic Klumpp, who will remain at the company in a consulting capacity.
