Michael Hill appoints new CMO

Brisbane-based jeweller Michael Hill has appointed Anna-Maree Shaw as Chief Marketing Officer, effective June 20. 

Shaw has 20 years experience in B2C marketing - both in Australia and the UK - across retail, financial services, travel and not for profit sectors.  

In Britain, Shaw has worked with big name retailers Tesco and Sainsbury’s.

In Australia, she has worked for Suncorp, AAMI, APIA, GIO, Flight Centre and Compare the Market, focusing on "customer centric products and services," according to Michaell Hill, in a statement. 

Her appointment follows the recent departure of Joe Talcott.
