Nasty Gal collaborates with Emily Ratajkowski

Online fashion brand Nasty Gal has launched a special collection with model and actress Emily Ratajkowski, just in time for summer.

Nasty Gal

Inspired by Ratajkowski’s personal style, the collection includes midriff tops, silky dresses and light-wash denim - all pieces designed for a “sexy, bold and confident” woman.

The fashion destination owned by Boohoo Group said the 28-year-old model “perfectly embodies” the Nasty Gal brand and the women the collection is designed for.

Emily Ratajkowski rose to prominence after starring in Robin Thicke's controversial "Blurred Lines" music video, which was criticised for featuring topless women and promoting sexism.

Since then, she has starred in several movies, graced the covers of countless international magazines, gained over 22 million followers on Instagram and launched her own swimwear brand EmRata.

“Her influence is widely recognized as an icon for both style and feminism,” said Nasty Gal, which was acquired by Boohoo in 2017.

“Nasty Gal has always been a brand that has never shied away from pushing the envelope,” said Emily Ratajkowski. “I love the whole idea of a Nasty Gal - it’s a woman who stands up for herself and what she believes in. I’m very excited to partner with them for this campaign!”

With prices starting from as little as £14, the Nasty Gal x EmRata collection is set to become a hit with 20-somethings, and some of the styles were out of stock one day after its launch.
