Paris Saint-Germain club signs up for Rolling Stones collection

Just how far will PSG go in the realm of fashion? After collaborating with label Koché and team players front row-ing it - Neymar at the head - at Paris fashion week, the French capital's iconic football club has signed up for another fashion collaboration. This time, it's the Rolling Stones, the music group known for the famous tongue symbol, which now sits centre as a quasi-logo for the sports team's new merchandise spin-off.

Uniting the pair is the duo's close geographic proximity, with the British band this week playing its last three dates in Paris, as part of its No Filter tour. This music-sports partnership, made possible with Bravado, the merchandising arm of Universal, consists of a dozen pieces and will be sold via retailer Colette from October 19 to 25.

Blue, white and red are the feature hues, referencing the club's colours, as well as the British flag, with the assortment including a reworked jersey, a sweater, t-shirts, a pair of sneakers, a trucker cap, and a skateboard. Completing the collaboration, the PSG team players have even borrowed the Rolling Stone's private jet, and headed to Anderlecht, where they played their Champion's League match, according to SFR Sport.

It's not the first time that PSG has looked to fashion with Colette. In Spring, the club - via its PSG merchandising arm - unveiled a high-end shoe in collaboration with America's Esquivel.

There has also been several other collaborations, with Iro on womenswear, as well as Civisum and Levi's. Sales of merchandise is one of the major pushes from club management, since the arrival of Qatar at the helm.
