Ralph & Russo opens Dubai boutique, plans NYC and Monte Carlo stores this year

Luxury British brand Ralph & Russo has continued on the expansion trail this week with the opening of a 2,250 sq ft store in the upscale Dubai Mall. It's the first of four boutiques the label will open this year with New York, Miami, Monte Carlo and Doha to follow the Dubai debut.

The eight-year-old brand, which was the first and only British couture house in almost 100 years to be invited to show on the official Paris Haute Couture schedule, moved into ready-to-wear last year with its first RTW collection.

It has continued to build on that since, extending its designs across four collections, including one for each of the pre-seasons, plus two mainline offers to show on the catwalk, and a shoe and accessory line.

Co-founder and Creative Director, Tamara Ralph, who manages everything from store design and client journey to material selection and furniture design, said of the new store: “Retail boutiques need to be an immersive experience where the client connects with the brand visually, physically and emotionally.

“Our philosophy has always been to create a sanctuary for our clients, and this welcoming feeling of being at home and the desire to rest without rushing was a key element in the design of our boutiques and remains a continued thread of the Ralph & Russo service.”
