Show-stopping beauty looks from the Chanel's Métiers d'Art catwalk

Chanel captivated the fashion world on Wednesday night, as the luxury house put on its "Metiers d'art 2019-2020" show at Le Grand Palais in Paris.

The focus might have been on artistic director Virginie Viard's exquisite designs, but there was stiff competition from the striking catwalk beauty looks on show, too.

There was dark, berry lipstick with a lacquered finish for models including Kaia Gerber; perfect for a polished winter aesthetic, and teamed with glowing, luminous complexions.

Several of the models sported metallic silver eyeshadow that carried a party vibe, and some looks featured crystal facial studs for an extra dose of glamour.

Wet-look hair was a major theme, with stylist Sam McKnight creating wet twists and curls that put an edgy spin on traditional styles.

Ponytails were held in place with camelia-esque accessories, and velvet headbands tapped into the festive vibe. The Chanel girl is as elegant as ever.
