Supreme opens new store in San Francisco

New York-based Supreme is opening its newest store in San Francisco.

In an Instagram post showing the store’s storefront at 1015 Market Street, Supreme said the store will open on October 24. The shop unveiling follows the release of a preview of Supreme’s upcoming San Francisco skate video, shot by director William Strobeck.

As seen in photos posted on the brand’s Instagram, the store’s interior is a wide industrial space lined with Supreme apparel. Also inside are several sculptures by artist Mark Gonzales, whose artwork has been featured in Supreme stores in Tokyo and London, as well as its temporary pop-up at 190 Bowery in New York (Supreme officially closed its original store on Lafayette Street in September).

However, the main decor attraction is a massive suspended skate bowl located at the back of the store.

In addition to San Francisco, the brand operates stores in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Los Angeles, London and Paris, as well as several locations throughout Japan.

The opening comes as Supreme gears up to release new collaborations with Levi’s and Clarks this week on October 24 (with the exception of Japan, which will have access to the collections on October 26).
