Zadig & Voltaire is the latest fashion brand to commit to removing animal fur from its ready-to-wear and accessories collections, according to a news release from PETA France. The French brand joins a long list of major labels and designers who have already turned their backs on animal fur.

A host of fashion brands pledged to stop using animal fur in 2018. From small labels to major fashion houses and internationally renowned designers, animal fur appears to have had its day in the industry, even if a handful of brands persist in using such products.

Zadig & Voltaire is the latest label to turn its back on fur, pledging to stop using animal fur in its forthcoming collections, whether for clothing or accessories. The label announced the news directly to PETA France.

Versace, Burberry, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano and Coach are just some of the brands who have already removed animal fur from their collections. Victoria Beckham has also banished exotic animal skins from her creations.
