Moods and Colour Inputs - Spring/Summer 2022 (Fashion for Breakfast)

For S/S 22 Fashion for Breakfast has developed three moods that capture three seasonal trends: the onset of spring, spring and summer. Below you will find two trends and colour palettes to enter two worlds and different styles.

In Her Room

In a square space, surrounded by her childhood games, I am mind travelling to outer infinite galaxies.
Living through a global pandemic has made us reassess the importance of our personal spaces, the perimeter in which we feel protected and can completely be ourselves: home.
The “In her room” mood takes us from winter to spring, immersing us in the one room of the house where we feel safest. Like every loungewear outfit, comfort is key: sheer fabrics with gathers and draw strings give you a peek of sports underwear that is comfortable to wear, making you feel pampered.
The patterns give the clothing an eccentric feel, inspired by the contemporary world but also including vintage touches: therefore we find elements from the world of gaming or from the posters of old sci-fi movies.

Dive into the colours of summer, with your mind travelling to tropical beaches and paradises to explore. Your dream of the perfect holiday comes true with “Vacation postcard”, a mood that captures the happiness of the summer season, with its colours and most carefree and  casual pieces.

The palette of the mood explodes into a kaleidoscope of neon hues: from very bright pink and green to blue that blind us like a clear summer sky, from the colour of terracotta with its ethnic feel to orange and to an intense yellow that brightens clothes like warm rays of sun.
Two moods full of a different energy made of luminosity and colour, the trends are continuously being updated and evolving!
